From the dawn of time, the most erudite thinkers have been obsessing over the question of ‘Existence of God.’

After centuries of debate on this controversial topic, philosophers of religion and popular culture have categorized in the term of existence of God follow of logical, metaphysics, empirical, subjective, etc.

Philosophers inhibits and straddles with the disciplines of epistemology, theory of value and innate ideas. The chat with reference on the controversial topic, philosophers have given their verdict on this age-old question. But this debate is still the subject of active research.

Plato and Aristotle were the first who made arguments and discusses the meaning of “Being as Being” fundamentally refers the unmoved movers. The solution actually categorized as cosmological, ontological, epistemological, and logical.

Along with Friedrich Nietzsche and Bertrand Russel gave answer which is clashing from the one formulated by the philosopher from antiquity.

Most schools of Hinduism believe that there is existence of God.  Law of Karma provide basis of the existence of God, there must be an existence of God to control and monitor all karmatic actions. They also believe that fruits of karma are dispensed through a body that is known as God and thus proved the existence of God. (siyam, 2012)

Rene Descartes asserts that the idea of God is Innate placed in us by God, rejecting the possibility of being Fictitious or adventitious.

Cartesianism (is a form of rationalism, is opposed to both Aristotelianism and empiricism) proffer this gist with logical statement:

Something cannot come from Nothing.

If I had invent myself I would have shape myself perfect.

God is the greatest conceivable being.

It is greater to exist than not to exist.

Therefore, God exists.

(Oppy and Graham, 1996 revised in 2011)

In contemporary Western culture, the acumen of God reflects to aseity, eternity, graciousness, impassibility, and holiness. Philosophers of western tradition portrayed God as “the uncaused cause, “the prime mover”, “the ultimate creator”, or “a being that than which nothing greater can be conceived.” (Steve Rudd, 2012)

The image and essence of God with in us is innate. For me the picture I portrayed of God is Nature (classical elements and all creatures) and essence is the feeling of peace, air, holiness, divine.

The thoughts regarding the existence of God is truly real not fictitious, for instance – in dream (sequence of images, ideas, emotions) we sketch from waking experience. There’s no “real” circles in nature.

According to Plato, the idea of a perfect circle is the form of a circle, which is to say, it’s a representation of a perfect circle. Circle can only be drawn on papers, there is no existence of circle in nature i.e. circle is fictitious whereas idea of God is innate (according to Descartes) and in compare Innate ideas is more reliable and authentic than fictitious.

The above mentioned views are justified and contradicted on the basis of philosophical authors and religions. The topic is still controversial and several philosophers are still arguing and practice their specific opinions relation this fact.
